@sonofthedestroyer I'm sorry, but that argument is terrible. In order for an actor to carry out a role successfully, the audience must FORGET that it's the actor, and believe that it's the character. When the makeup is bad, this fails. Everyone already knew that Hassan was going to play these roles due to film hype and credits, so using bad makeup as an excuse for film understanding is terrible.

As long as indians only care about money and loose their values over it, india will never be a super power, by recent standards i think you meant a G8 nation

Thats the whole point. Kamal wanted people to know it was him. If the makeup was too good people may not have recognised it was him

awesome performance by kamalji in this movie..........but the only problem area was MAKE-UP...........since kamalji was at the helm of affairs,he could have taken much more care of make-up.......some of the make-ups(like this bush or that old lady) was realy horrible and amatureish......but that was covered by the top-class performance of aandavar kamal.....
