^ agreed. the tC can hold its own in a collision. i believe the roof can hold 6X's the weight of the whole car.

only "downside" is that the hatch doesnt leave tooo much head room for the people in the back

if you get a stick knock off ~1.5k from that price. sure the Si has more hp but with the extra 7k you save you can really mod the tC with enough boost to smoke the Si and still have lots left to do other mods

i got a scion tc 08 best choice i ever made in cars its sporty and everything .. goes pretty fast also .. hopeu got it . n enjoy ! i love my scion tc i always drive it !

The pure price is 18,400 for auto, with most dealers running $500 or $600 "rebate" on them to avoid getting in trouble.

i love the reaction to the size of the car. when people get in my tc they can never believe how it has more rear leg room than many SUVs. drives real smooth and quiet too... great car if you're friend is on a budget... or even if not on a budget. a good deal is a good deal.

tc's are alil over 19K, and you can get an Si for 24K, if you dont mindpaying the extra 5K go for the Si, but IMO, take the TC. Im a tc owner myself, and the Scion community is MUCH more friendlier than the honda community, basing it on my experience.

Your friend should get the car, its a very nice car especially for the price. She won't regret it, i know from personal experience as i had one myself lol. Her parents would also like the fact that the tC is very safe and built strong.
