I have YET to run across a tab or video that the intro to this tune is played correctly. Give this a try:
Your use of "sixths" is correct. Congrats ! Few others realize this. But start on b/d strings at frets 8/9. Then frets 10 & 12. Next, move these same fret positions up to the e/g strings. Less movement up/ down the neck and it will sound a bunch better. Play around with these positions from the starting point of frets 8/9 to figure out the rest of lead fills throughout the song. ENJOY !!
