We made a visit outside the wire to the Ziggurat of Ur. 4000 years of history in this place. It's quite impressive.

That sucks... but such is the risk we take when we stay in the military. Hopefully it'll be a relatively uneventful deployment for him... if he has any luck, he'll be where I am now, it's pretty quiet.
