Everything is debatable, and I'm not quite sure to which performer you refer, but as to total awards no female artist received more than Whitney Houston and as to the best seller and greatest chart performer, that's Elvis actually by quite a bit as shown in the history of the Top 40 Rock, Pop and R & B charts as compiled by Joel Whitburn where rankings are based upon a singer's overall chart showings with a point system. Regardless, they were both beautiful, beautiful people!!!

For those of you who criticized me for defending Whitney, I'm well aware that Elvis has sold more records than anyone overall, but that has nothing to do with it as the comparisons - and everyone can have their opinion (though those based on facts are more valid) - but I have heard it over and over and over from both guys and girls that when it comes to both having breathtaking looks and each an approximate 3 octave range and voice of beauty in their primes, the two are amazingly similar!!
