Many individuals and groups within the United States are currently demanding that various economic and political reforms be made in this country's business and government sectors. One of these groups is the Occupy movement. But some have said that the Occupy movement is not really a movement. In this video excerpt, my guests and I discuss what a movement is and compare the Occupy movement with the Tea Party. To get information about our one-hour television discussion, go to www.epatoday.org/tv.html.
Tea Party and Occupy see many of the same problems. Both believe the government no longer is working for the average American. Both believe the influence and importance of money for election campaigns has corrupted our political sysytem. Of course their solutions are different but I believe both groups see the same problems.
