The music is a combination of the Munchie theme and the theme to Nightmare on Elm Street. Yes, even the two musical THEMES are close.

Munchie was a children's film with Don DeLuise voicing the wish granting bat-faced gremlin creature of the title.
However for all its professing to be a whimsical family adventure the movie was just...disturbing.

The story is about a supernatural creature discovered by an estranged boy with an active imagination. This being, Munchie, offers him unlimited magical assistance to see his dreams come true, but these dreams usually involve hurting people, humiliating or manipulating them. I suppose its all supposed to be innocent and goofy, but for some reason Munchie's antics comes off as macabe and malicious to me.

Ooooooooooooooooomg! i remember this as a kid! i been dieing to watch it for many years! only caught the movie by the end! i remembered how he looked like because he reminded me of Aero the acrobat! i use to love that game so as a kid i became obsessed with Munchie cause of that! thou i had no idea what the name of the movie was IM SO HAPPY i finally found the name after many years searching! Thank you so much!

The origanal. Only a 6 year old goth would find munchie cute. Then again, they might not be interested, because muchie was found by a short nerdy (even though he was a bit emo).  I wonder what the movie would be like if munchie was found be a goth kid.
