That is correct, citydog. It was being shown to about 10 users in total, including myself. Basically anybody can create a room where they can display their webcam to other users.

Normally you are not able to save livestreams and they are never saved on the server, but I was able to record it using screen capture software (CamStudio).

Although the cat was abused, let's be glad that he was able to escape and didn't incur any long lasting physical damage.

Catabuse, if I understand you correctly, and after having looked at Stickam's site, with which I am not familiar, this was a live stream from a web camera being shown to all viewers, or, just to one? And from a live stream, you were able to copy it? So, it was being streamed live to you?

This is just incredible. A live stream of a cat being abused. Just incredible. What sick and twisted kids these are.

It might be possible for you to email stickam and request further information on the incident.

Give them the user name "0hbby", the date it occurred "March 18, 2008" and the link to this video. Unfortunately the videos showing the actual abuse have been taken down. But I can reupload them if necessary.

The video was a live stream, so it's not recorded on any stickam server. Stickam is a webcam chat. This is the reason for recording the video and putting it up here. This is the only video available on the internet for this incident.

The user account (in my description) was banned from stickam after I informed them of the incident and told them to contact the animal abuse authorities.

catabuse, did the Stickham channel remove the video when you brought it to their attention?

I could not find it on their site. Do you have a link to the original video? I would like to follow-up with this incident of what is clearly a criminal act.
