@12345PURPLERAIN This section of river passes through the Menominee Indian Reservation lands, so a permit is always required. You can get one through
"Big Smokey Falls Rafting"....(715)-799-3359....ask for Ralph or Antone. They are located at the take-out, and will shuttle you to the put-in, called "Otter Slide".
