Music : Jools Holland and Marc Almond - "Say Hello, Wave Goodbye'

Movie recorded at two concerts on consecutive nights in Bruges and Amsterdam, April 2009

Two concerts, with different versions of the same song : "Say Hello, Wave Goodbye". The first was recorded at the Schouwburg in Bruges, Belgium in a magnificent 'proper' seated concert hall - hence the accoustics and lighting display are very good. But, personally speaking, I prefer the 2nd version recorded at the Paradiso Club {an old converted church} in central Amsterdam, the following evening.

Marc Almond had been touring with Jools and the Rhythm and Blues Orchestra as a Special Guest throughout most of the summer and winter tours in 2008, and the concert in Amsterdam marked his last appearance with the Band {for the moment, at least?!}.

Great note to finish off on as it was a wonderful performance of a really great song - loved the long intro played by Jools and the Band too!
