99 south of Fresno usually has the thickest fog during fall and winter months. I remembered driving from Fresno to Hanford one January morning and the visibility was probably 100ft or lower. This area was once the former Tulare Lake, the lowest point on the Southern San Joaquin Valley. No wonder the fog is so thick in this area.

@Sodapopkidd how in the hell are the truckers worse speed limit 55 for them

Born and raised in the Central valley... I know the dangers of the Fog.... People Slow down!!! If people would just slow down .. lives wouldn't have to be lost!
-
You'd think that people who are native here to the valley would know better to even drive in this type of conditions, let alone drive at normal highway speeds. Tule fog can get downright scary.

Two people died in this accident...

how many people died?

The traffic on this section of the 99 tends to be heavy, and yes these idiots think there invincible when it comes to driving it fog. Personally, the 99 is a horrible freeway period, so many accidents and fatalities every year. At all cost I avoid driving on the 99 when the weather is bad, either it be fog or rain, because ignorant people still drive erratically.

people are idiots. country and ethnicity have nothing to do with it.
people are ignorant and stupid.

2:16 Aye Caray!!!!

1:00 DAME!!!! That truck squashed the '88 civic.
People never learn. I pass this spot several times a week. The fog is back and I slow down, roll down my windows so I can hear traffic. But people still go by at 80, 90 MPH with very limited visibility. The truckers are worse but some of these people, the way they drive, it's like they're the only ones on the road.
