Even something like me which doesn't lives in America or isn't an American citizen got inspired very very long time ago, i'm from Eastern Europe, and i if the talk goes about American Presidents, then my answer is... John.F.Kennedy is the best, i liked him and still like, he was a real patriot and realist, like his quote - "I'm an idealist without illusions." If he would live right now, then all country would believe and know more about space, but nowadays,almost no one doesn't believe.
