Chelsea Steward Confiscates Liverpool Flag For Being Too Big

Mark, an over-officious, jobsworth steward at Chelsea Football Club, is determined to ruin the atmosphere at the Chelsea v Liverpool European Cup (Champions League) Semi-Final, 1st Leg match by stopping Phil taking his Liverpool flag into Stamford Bridge because it's "too big".

Phil has taken this flag to Liverpool matches in Japan, Portugal, Ukraine, Netherlands, France, Turkey and Spain, without once causing any problems with stewards at those grounds. Only in London at Chelsea did anyone try to dampen the spirits by refusing to let it into the ground.

Chelsea, you're a bunch of idiots. People can get through the turnstiles with all manner of items (including drugs), but woe betide anyone who wants to bring something as offensive as an inoffensive flag into your ground. Just another one of many reasons why ALL supporters (not just Liverpool supporters) hate your club...

What could loosely be described as the "atmosphere" at Stamford Bridge is tacky and plastic. Your supporters have about 3 songs and would prefer to boo us when we're singing, rather than try to outsing us. Pathetic. Chelsea, you may prove to be the best team in England or even Europe this season - but you are a million miles away from being the best CLUB.
