general musharraf came to power in pakistan via military coup. amnesty international have said the musharraf government are responsible for violating "a wide array of human rights", including torture, unlawful detention, enforced disappearance, extrajudicial execution, unlawful transfer of persons to the united states and other countries, and arbitrary arrests. musharraf has also violently been shutting down tv and radio stations.

tony blair, in november 2006, paid tribute to musharraf for;

"symbolising the future for muslim countries the world over." ...

really?! proof i think, if needed, that tony blair has lost his mind and cares nothing for democracy despite all his empty rhetoric - dictators are fine to him if they implement policies favourable to the west.

a quote from the debate;

"far from symbolising the future for the muslim countries around the world, general musharraf crystallises the problem which western governments have in those countries. we tell people that we are invading countries in order to defend democracy and liberty, but we support dictators who crush democracy and liberty as long as they do so in concordance with western policy on other matters."

The two big political parties PP & PMLN are constantly trying to work out the issues of national integrity, peace and democracy. But Munafiqeen in PP are not letting any issue finalize as per required circumstances. Who's behind? Political leaders of religious parties participating in these meetings are giving a signal of anti Pakistan & Anti Islamic forces behind this scenario. What would be the final result? Army finally plunging in & kicking the politicians out of the game once and forever.

To re-stable democracy in Pakistan politicians need to unite at one platform & control the inflation, instability, & unlawful actions becoming the cause of instability of a democratic govt, mostly taken over by the army.The Pak Constitution needs to be revised by a team of retired judges and senior barristers like Aitzaz Ahsan to remove the loop holes allowing misdoings to the rich class, giving equal right to survive to each & every Pakistani.Only then can democracy gain stability in Pakistan.

Only Democracy can solve the problems of Pakistan which has been suffering from military dictatorship since its creation. 33 years of our history has been swollen up by Military dictatorship, thanks to the backing of USA an UK governments.

We request for Newly sworn National Assembly of Pakistan to abolish death penalty from National constitution of Pakistan (1973). There are examples of checkmate between the rulers,when one grave is dug and one of the two finest men of Pakistan has to occupy it. We can't forget kissing gallows by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, or the trouble between President Musharaf and Ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Future political games for power can't be different,when struggle gets to push other to grave.
