  • Bev Bevins looks fantastic. She is in her mid-60’s you idiots you think singers stay 20 because they had a hit record? At first I thought this was Debbie Graf Burgan but I checked old films and this really is Bev Bevins. You people are jerks talking looks and age because someday you’ll all grow old should your stupidity allow for it. So many jerks in the world and I can understand why Bev Bevins took a long vacation rather than deal with idiots. Bev we’re glad you came back to contribute again.

  • I saw Bev Bivens and the We Five as an unannounced opening act for the Righteous Brothers. Everyone was blown away..they ruled. Bev, you're as beautiful as ever and I bet you still have those moves.

  • @samspinchat Yep. The lead singer you saw on the PBS special is original member Jerry Burgan's wife Debbie (who has actually been the female member of the group for most of its history). But Bev had the role when they shot to stardom with "You Were On My Mind."

  • I be sorry, y'all, but this, to me, is incredibly depressing. Newsperson Cheryl Jennings has the beady eyes of a blonde field mouse. Brad Rosenstein needs to be a little more gay, if that's at all possible (maybe he'll bust a nut in the process, thereby creating at least SOME ironic amusement). And the rest of it, well - OMG - I'll just let it speak for itself.

  • PBS had a 60s reunion about 5 years ago with We Five. The female singer was a different person than the woman in this video. Maybe she replaced her but she sounded the same. Anyone see that PBS special?

  • Hooray, Beverly!!!!!

Always wondered where she was and am glad that she's still out there......man, what a peach she was and still is..........

  • "You Were On My Mind" was the most memorable song from my summer of '65. Some 13 years later, I was interviewing a most remarkable woman who, as a child, had awakened to the house being crushed by a 100-ft wall of water from the collapse of the St. Francis Dam north of L.A. She lost her mother and brother. She said that, only recently had she told her daughter, Beverly Bivens, the story. Peggy Bivens died just a few years following that interview. I've always wanted to share it with Beverly.

  • this anchor-woman has had so much facial work its insane. So many injections....obviously....oh yea the bands and music mentioned ,,,especially the Janis outfit & Ms. Bivens....just awesome. Loved the We Five when I was a kid. Thanks for posting this. Interesting.

  • So great to see recent footage of Bev Bevins. I'd wondered for a long time what had happened to her. "You Were On My Mind" is an incredibly influential record, one of the missing links between the folk revival and folk-rock. ("High Flying Bird" by Judy Henske is another one). More Bev clips, please!

  • Ah she's fantastic, wish they'd shown a full clip of her singing. Go Beverly!

  • God bless and keep her...I for one have and will never forget...
