False. Apple takes things that already exist and promotes the shit out of it. They have great advertising. Say "innovative" enough and people will flock like sheep to get the over priced piece of technology they sell. They almost never directly say they thought of those things themselves, they simply insinuate it by saying how innovative it is. Apple may have invented some things. But most of their "brilliant innovation" comes from companies that don't advertise nearly as well.

Apple's most valuable innovation as a company is their ability to convince people that they created things that other people built.
