let's put it this way if i own a store and i can either hire 1 person at $40 an hour or hire 5 people at $8 an hour. reasons dictate that the later is a better choice for a company.

Lol I am a cashier at Wal-mart. One of the assistant managers came through my till and was a total jackass to me. He walked away and hit a customer with his cart. The customer was pissed and I had to calm him down. 10 minutes later they call me into the back office. And the person above the Manager that came through my till told me this is my first warnign and that I was very rude to the Assistant manager. I was amazed. I was actually speechless.

@TheRubberDuck139 Then you have the customers who feel they can treat an employee like a piece of trash. Bullshit, I have quit better jobs than this. I have never been treated so poorly in my life by an employer or a customer in my life. I picked up the job just to make a little extra cash. I figured that after I got done with the rude customer I had two choices. 1. Get fired (which was going to happen, or 2. quit and walk out with some dignity. I chose number 2.

I get a kick how some of the customers treat the employees like trailer trash. Had one customer tonight who thought he was a Privileged customer who could speak to an employee how ever he wanted to. The employee was me and the customer found out quickly that was not the case. Of course I no linger work for Wal-Mart, I walked out after I finished with the customer. I had gotten sick and tired of employees who wanted the check but did not want to work. Then you have the customers....

Just because people didn't have $32,000 a year to buy a piece of paper stating they are now employable is not the problem. #2.
