PART 1 of 3. The early history of The FABULOUS ECHOES, a pop group based in Hong Kong in the early 60's.

They had several records that were very popular in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia in the early and mid 60's, such as "A Little Bit Of Soap," "I Know," "Dancing On The Moon," and "The Wedding."

That early line-up: Tony Ruivivar (guitar), Bert Sagum (vocals, percussions), Terry Lucido (keyboards), Stan Robertson (bass guitar), Danny Ruivivar (drummer) and Cliff Foenander (lead vocalist).

The Fabulous Echoes later evolved into The Society of Seven of Waikiki (1966 thru 1999) and current Las Vegas fame.

In these video clips, founder-leader Tony Ruivivar and long-time member Bert Sagum and their manager Frances Kirk recall those early days of The Fabulous Echoes.
