Classic song from Axiom which reached No.5 in 1970.

This short lived Australian group (1969-71) had Glenn Shorrock on lead vocals. This was one of his early groups before he formed LRB.
It also included a lot of well known Australian musicians at the time including Brian Cadd , Don Mudie & Doug Lavery.

  • Just great...i never thought there was a live show with this one. Awesome to hear it done this way. Retro ..that was amazing !

  • That's Ok Sunsets ... I'm glad everyone seems to be enjoying this vid.

Actually when I first got this clip, I didn't even realize it was live, as Glen Shorrock sings so perfectly that it sounds like a studio recording.

  • Thanks for posting this.I'll ' send' it to Scotland,to a great musician who has a new granddaughter. 5*****

  • Who are you sending it to ??

  • I can't help but cry my eyes out when i hear this song because this my me and my fathers song. I remember driving with him one afternoon and this song came on and he said to me "you dont know this but this is your song. i played it to you on your first day at home"

    i love you dad.

  • for those inerested The drummer is playing Drouyin drums from Brisbane all sixties drummers from Australia played them, the factory is still in brissy and still stocked with drums but has been closed since the early 80s..they were world class drums. unlike any other...petty the guys daughter wont let us open the factory again. These drums were made from aussie hard woods and the early hardware were premier parts until they designed their own. You can see the boarded up factory on google earth.

  • far better than anything LRB did
