Excuses are like Assholes, everyone has one and they all stink. It was not Van Gundy's fault. Steve did not step up to the plate and he lost what he had..... stop bitching, man up and fucking play.

for everybody thats dogging van gundy this was the only time that francis EVER made the playoffs with van gundy's coaching and using yao as the first option. all he asked was for him was to 1. get yao, one of the best centers at the time, the ball first and 2. not as much dribbling cause there were times he would get past someone then back up and try to do it again. basically get the big man the ball and be more efficient which is the job of a point guard.

@easyE0287 i agree with you. what about the guys before him? Hakeem Olajuwon for example. He brought two championships to that team. Dont get me wrong, I like Steve Francis. Hes a very talented player but that comment caught me off guard lol.
