Because they need it more man power to do their dirty work! Not only they brought Africans to the D.R but, also to Cuba, Puerto Rico and other parts of the caribbean islands.
If you think the ALL indigenous people of the Dominican R. were extinct, you are dead wrong. Why do you think Tainos are still living in Puerto Rico and Cuba? Search for Tainos in youtube you'll get new perspective of it.

What are you stupid? Tainos weren't all dead they still coexist today you moron! l have Dominican friends that look Puerto Ricans they tell me that in their country don't like to mix or live around African- Dominicans but, few still inter breeding and they have been for ages. Now you have few whites living today but they weren't around ages ago fool! Spaniards are not "white" stupid!!
