1992 L.A. Supercross - Part 3 of 3

This segment contains the last bit of the Main and exit interviews.

Stanton won the race and the title, but the ironic thing is Bayle's tactics during this race actually helped Stanton win the Championship.

If Bayle would have won, that would have taken 3 points away from Stanton, dropping him into a tie with Bradshaw at 328 pts. Bradshaw would have won the title by virtue of winning more races during the season. LOL

I couldn't stand Bradshaw, but after seeing his interview, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He was truly crushed.

Anyway, probably my favorite Supercross of all-time. BTW, at the end you get to see what a rider gets by winning a Supercross Championship, at least back then.

JMB is indeed one of the most gifted riders.. A shame he is french and his sheer stupid arrogance played some role in him failing to retain the 92 crown.. Bradshaw just faltered under pressure.. And he disappeared afterwards.. Shame.. Wud have been something a redneck winning the championship.. Wud make suprecross a nascar kind of thing..

Man, thanks so much for posting this! I was watching this back in the day, and just couldn't believe Bradshaw wasn't able to pull a third place finish. I see you are a JMB fan, wasn't it amazing how much he slowed down to keep Bradshaw's pace? Then just took off like it was nothing, he sure is a talented person. He deserves a flick in his ear for dropping his bike like a baby, but that discount his skill. Anyway, thanks again!!!

Yes, it's my favorite supercross because watching Bayle putt-putt around the track is so funny. The announcers were really frustrated with him.

And yeah, seeing him finally pull away from Bradshaw was the icing on the cake for me.

I just think JMB is awesome.

Difficult race for Bradshaw, A bad start and JMB after him. But if Bradshaw had run without thinking, he just had to overtake Cooper and Kidrowski.

He never had to think about JMB (but JMB afraid Bradshaw and maked him too agressive). Then race had been Stanton, Bradshaw, Bayle or Stanton , Bayle, Bradshaw . And Bradshaw had the title

25-22-20-18... Is a strange count (more secure, dont miss a race !! TV points !!)

25-20-17-15 ... Take first place (more agressive race at the top,more danger... )

brilliant racing, before i was born but that was much better than the 2010 sx. did i read the results right? bayle took bradshaw on the last lap it must've been.
