John A. MacDonald united the Province of Canada with The Great Coalition in 1864 that joined Liberals and Conservatives, which was crucial to the eventual confederation of our nation. Conservatives who argue against our current coalition government are not patriots of any caliber and should be ashamed of attacking the tradition that created our country.

  • Just an angry hate filled liberal. And an asshole.

  • NDP: Communists

    Bloc: Sepratists

    Liberal: Trainwreck

I vote for the one that hasnt been trying to force their way to prime minister

  • @scottyross00

You are a well informed citizen.

You forgot to remember Sir Robert Borden who formed the first coalition wartime government with Liberals and Conservatives. Sir Robert Borden was the leader of the Conservative Party, the Tories!

The same party as Stephen Harper. If Stephen Harper really respects his office, he will follow constitutional precendent set by the men who have come before him.

  • @adamperson2 You hit the nail right on the head!

  • @scottyross00 I, like a growing number of Canadians feel that Canada should become a Republic. Why the hell should we have to move just because our beliefs don't match yours? That's a pretty biggoted thing to say to people who disagree with you "You were born here, but you don't like the way the government works.. so leave"... I've said it before, what you have to say is a joke.

  • @mrbojangle0 YOU GOT THAT RIGHT *high fives*

  • Stephen Harper is not opposed to coalitions. He is oppossed to a coalition government that includes a Seperatist Party who's mission is to break up the country. Second, there is nothing shameful in attacking the traditions that created this country. If the founding fathers of this country truely got it right, then it should be able to stand up to critism. This country has exsisted over 140 years. When does what someone did 140 years + ago have to dictate our values today? Your arugment is a joke

  • Idiot

  • Does the absence of the word coalition make it not a coalition? A dog is a dog no matter what you call it.
