One thing I feel like people don't consider is when people say "Japan took over this, Japan didn't help us then.." it doesn't matter. thats bs. just because the people in charge made the decision, doesn't stop the fact that thousands of people are suffering who had nothing to do with the decision

Honestly I think alot of the hate is because some people think that people would not of helped in a situation like this unless it was japan due to their interest in anime.

I am one of those people who is in the middle though to be honest. On one hand I think it is more wise we actually try to solve some of U.S's problems which are actually getting pretty dire then to spend money on somebody else, on the other hand I think it is good we are helping our fellow man whatever the reason

Yeah... Pearl Harbor was actually not meant to be a surprise attack, but the person writing the declaration of war didnt send it until after the deadline, and then the Japanese pulled off a "surprise attack" . Anyway, I am a Pinoy, so i dislike both because Japan took over the Philippines, and then when we were asking for help, USA came over and leveled most of our cities with bombers. :P So... Yeah.

Ridiculous that people think that. :I "Remember Pearl harbor, its revenge" HATE IT when people say that. I really do agree with you for we nuked them twice, BOMBED 6 of their cities and killed twice as many soldiers as they killed us. This happened 70+ years ago, Do people not think that cultures or attitudes change over years? Stupid, just plain stupid. I've tried to donate as much as I can. Went to a fundraiser for Japan in Japan Town. :) Got a T-shirt and Bracelet that says "Help Japan!"
