Thanks for you comment. Yes, I agree that the first thing to do is to repeat the test and then, if repeat shows persistent elevation, detect and address its cause(s). I will try to do a followup on high WBC. Thanks. MA

i had a full blood count about two and a half weeks ago,everything was fine apart from a high WBC count,i haven't been sick or had an infection lately,i eat well but smoke quite a lot and have clinical depression and have been very stressed lately,my GP has asked for me to get another test this friday,i have been quite worried although your vid has made me feel a little less worried!
