Barbara rush and david jannsen two of the most interesting actors ever in this bayou stew. entertaining but I bet theyhad a lot of laughts at the end of every humid shooting day. Rush was really a super good actress, could do about anything. Look at how harrowing she is in Hombre when she is tied to the stake, nobody could have done that better and many many many not half as well.
This was pretty okay, but I was hoping for more of a twist, like for the sheriff to be the werewolf, or really any of the other characters. Unfortunately, I knew who it was from the first scene introducing him.

I agree. I thought that Barbara Rush's character might turn into a werewolf at the end and kill the sheriff.
