The Nomads is an online support forum for those affected by Hepatitis. It is a valuable resource for information with items from the latest research, published papers on HCV, treatment and new drug trials. It can only be viewed by registering and all membership is free. It does focus on the social side of support and is a good place to find like minded people in a similar predicament. Carers and health professionals are also members and all are welcome.

We have been batteling it all here in bits and pieces. Yet the VA witholds records under official records acts on those of us who served with a NATO top secret or higher. I use supermilk thistle. I will not get a chance at any type of alternative treaments as the VA would take my benefitsand small pension away from me. Fight the good fight. We just had some more improper usages of disposable equipment.

I am an American who got HCV from my service to my country. I am HCV 1/a 1/b and the VA is doing the same shuffle with our soldiers health care workers and they are still finding clinics reusing disposible needles and other medical equipment. I am the 27 years and the effects are just starting the VA wwill not do anything for me and my care is free. Canada has a better rate of helping thier people then the US is. I will pass this along as well. The truth must get out. If you are reading this - get tested! Don't put it off. You'll be glad you did.

Thank you Jonathan for all the work you have put in, to helping us all. May God bless you, and this work. One of our greatest enemies is the big green monster - Mammon! The prescription drug companies are keepers of the Big Broom, with which much is, "swept under the rug." Public knowledge and outcry is the best antidote, as I see it, and there is a good helping of both here.

thank you so much for making this. I will pass it on to others.

That's too bad. Not uncommon. No-one knew about HCV 30 years ago. In countries where governments have effective strategies (not the UK sadly), infection rates are coming down - but that doesn't help you or me or the millions of others who got infected prior to the 1990's.
