Part 1 of 4: SAVE THE SPINDLE!
Sculpture to sculture to save culture, Critical Mass rides from the Chicago Picasso to the Berwyn Spindle, aka Car-Kabob, which made a cameo appearance in the movie Wayne's World. The Spindle stands tall in Cermak Plaza, but is slated for demolition to make way for the 5,785th Walgreens convenience store to disgrace the face of the planet. It's not too late! You can help to SAVE THE SPINDLE!

Chicago Critical Mass is greatly aided by an email listserve that allows cyclists to communicate and collaborate; how else could we have gotten 1500 cyclists to haul it 14 miles to the burbs?

  • See the critical mass parody so "all" sides can laugh. It's called BUCKYSTEIN (#7) VS. CRITICAL MASS ROAD RAGE. Let me know if it made your day.

  • HAHA the flyer was great & the ride was really long & enjoyable.
