Quicksilver - Chase Scene

The end chase in the movie "Quicksilver" with Kevin Bacon. This movie is rather terrible which is a shame because there are only so many movies with bicycles as the subject.

Here we have some guy in what looks like an old early 70s Ford LTD chasing and trying to run down Kevin Bacons character riding a 80s Raleigh which is supposed to be a fixed gear bicycle I think but you can see him coasting so I guess it had a coaster brake?

@bub777 The villain in the film (seen as a pimp who terrorizes Jami Gertz) was seen in The Driver (as the hitman in the Trans Am) and The Enforcer (as the stickup thug who boots Eastwood out of the liquor store and dispatched with a 44 Magnum)...

I remember seeing this clip earlier this year. I thought the driver looked like a big-time villain I recall seeing in another classic film or two, along the lines of a Bond villain or something.

The end of this chase reminded me of the chase between Benji and a wolf (I think that's what it was) from one of his movies.

Wow. What's with the hate on this movie? I watched this movie when I was a kid and bought the original VHS copy 6 years ago (for nostalgic reasons) and it wasn't THAT bad of a movie. I might be in the minority about my opinion but hey, it's my opinion, therefore I don't care if I am in the minority.
