I have the Canon EOS Rebel T1i.
I love the quality of Canon, but I'm suffering from the blue light of death. I'm currently ordering parts throught several distributors to reassemble it. Buying an SLR again can be an expensive alternative.
Still, I prefer having an SLR over a professional camcorder, simply because of the over-all crisp high production.

The mobile phone industry is way fucking worse tbh.
So many redundant/useless features, Horrible designs etc..etc, I'm still using a Motorola V3 because it's smaller than the iPhone and does everything i need, Costs next to nothing to call since I cracked it and put a virtual sim in it.
Games consoles to, PC's are superior cause you can trade out graphics cards processors and ram.

Freaking amazing pictures, It's kinda bulky tho, Feels nice to use but it's a bugger to cary.

Great response! Yeah everything is dumbed down. It really is frustrating as if I have an older camera that breaks I cant get a new one that will produce the same quality images, unless I pay alot more money. eBay used to be an alternative, but like I said, alot of rich greedy ppl are on there bidding up the prices now on older cameras. The dollar just dont buy much anymore.
