I had a Ibizan Hound when I was 10 in 1970 his name was Hannibal,
he came from a litter of my grandmothers Hound named Zoraya.My
grandmother was Rhoda Low Seoane of the New England shipping
family of Low,she and my grandfather Colonel Consuelo A. Seoane
imported this breed to the USA. in 1956.The breed comes from the
Island of Eivissa (Ibiza) off the coast of Spain.When I was 2 years old my dad would let me ride on Hannibal's back in the back yard on a lead.
