I think they are pretty well known in the US - they had big hits here - I saw them in Oakland, CA in August of 07 and the house was packed.

Good catch on that about the missing bridge section, ranzita. Must've been before they took it in the studio and Mitchell Froom got his hands on it. He was always good at coming up with cool bridge parts and the like on their songs.
