serves him right.. he should have slaped him in the head. koivu was going for the head with that elbow.. just look how many games have crosby been gone from his injury.

@Nashtak Ohlund should have gotten the 24 games which Koivu missed due to the injury received from Ohlund. Vancouver seems to have a habit placing bounties on star players for other teams and deserve more than a few game suspensions.

@simok97 How true you speak. Reminds me of a lesser Todd Buttoozzi incident with Steve Moore. (Butthead was also a Canuck I am sure you remember.)

Ohlund should have been killed for doing this. Go figure he played for the Canucks at the time. Where was Gary Butthead on this incident giving him only 4 games?? The Wild lost Koivu for much longer than that which was a far larger blow to them. NOT FAIR BUTTHEAD!!

@hockeysniper91elite I agree that Koivu threw an elbow but did that warrant a 24 game suspension? That's how long Koivu was out with a BROKEN LEG. Stop trying to justify why Ohlund two handed and admit that it was a dirty play. Ohlund was suspended for 4 games. Seems like he made out pretty well from that elbow huh.
