  • what is the music he uses for his act?

  • @lionelwoolf he works with a composer to create the music just for the act and then a live band plays during the show

  • All I will say is what I saw and filmed personally for two months. Not all house pets are treated well, not all children are treated well, but that doesn't mean all. Allow exceptions.

  • I have seen him yesterday.He's so amazing :) !!!

  • He is fantastic with these lions! Martin Lacey Jr. You can see the love he has for his animals- that is how you train.

  • @DannieTheGirl249

I love circuses that build on the abilities of people. Take Cirque du Soleil, they offer a splendid show, without the need of "wild" animals to spice their act. You seem to miss the point:

    1. the circus animals have no choice, unlike the people that work there.

    2. Whereas in a decent zoo, you can at least try to offer a +/- natural habitat, you cannot in a circus (and they simply won't).

    3. all animals I have seen coming out of a circus were damaged, that is a FACT.

  • @Strubbe27 but u cannot tar every circus with the same brush, I'm sure there are circus' out there where the staff devote themselves to looking after the animals as best as possible, and merely wish to show an animal for its what it is capable of. I'm sure similar things happen in zoos but noone prevents them from using animals to gain profit from the public. Even cats and dogs are wild creatures, but noone cares when they are domesticated as long as the animals are well cared for and loved.

  • @DannieTheGirl249 ...We have no right to decide whether an animal should be living in captivity or not for our amusement only. it is immoral. Being fed, watered, exercised (are you kidding!?), loved: it has no meaning to an animal going totally neurotic behind bars and - to be honest, even less to the their torturers ...

  • @DannieTheGirl249 ... so, please, WAKE UP! Can you imagine the pain of seeing a full grown lion, fleeing back into the container that brought him from the circus to a sanctuary, upon hearing another lion's roar? The anger of seeing a magnificent male lion, shrinking away in a corner when someone passes by, carrying a stick? Now how would that be?

  • @DannieTheGirl249 ...Everything in the public eye is gentle and nice, trainers with big smiles ... But let there be no mistake: ANIMALS IN CIRCUSES DO SUFFER! Lions surviving the circus and ending up in sanctuaries often have their claws torn out (such that they are less of threat to the trainer ... usually happens to the stronger characters amongst the pride), teeth pulled and - occasionally - jaw broken (the later is not the result of intensive caressing, I can assure you!)

  • @DannieTheGirl249 I feel similarly about animals in a Zoo. They do not belong there, but at least they are not trained to perform tricks there. Your view that they are not treated badly is unfortunately based on nothing else than hope and willingness to believe the impossible. Lions in circuses are abused in order to make them perform the tricks that you see them performing. You won't see them being beaten up in the ring, for sure.

  • @Strubbe27 but do you feel the same way about animals at the zoo? of course animals are not meant for captivity but you cant say these animals are being treated badly. majority of them have grown up in captivity and its all they know, at least they are getting fed, watered, exercised and are loved...
