Democratic Party strategist and businessman Jim Johnson talks about the role of banks in the global financial crisis, regulation of banks, executive salaries and Barack Obama's performance as President of the United States.

Jim Johnson was a major player in Barack Obama's presidential campaign and a former Chairman of Fannie Mae. He was a visitor at the United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney in September 2009.
