i like your review. Personally i have been a big fan of the F13/Jason films and i loved this film!! Saw it twice at the movies and its now my fav in the series.. i know alot of fans disagree and i can respect that but for me, and i own all the films, this is my fav. I think it captured the whole 80s corny slasher flick feel but also felt "new" awesome!! Hope theres more :D

im a horror fan, and i think alien has elements of both, the killer kills off all the main charecters, leaving one female survivor. It seems like a slasher/sci-fi film to me.

@DaveDoggOwns He didn't say one of the best horror films he said one of the best slashers and I agree. This was a good movie. The best platinum dunes has put out yet with all of their reboots in the last decade. Much better than Shitsaw Massacre. He did forget to say A Nightmare on Elm Street which probably just slipped his mind that movie is much more superbly done than about any other slasher ever made.
