I got this from Alisdair at the hooverland meet, it had been mine previously, but had sold it to him a few years ago. spent today cleaning 'er up, lubing the agitator bearings and dealing with rusty bits!
This model was new for 1974 (tho this is actually a March 1975 version), just like me, hence why I wanted one!
You'll be happier with a Hoover... Damn right!
I love my other cleaners, but nothing works as well as my 1994 Hoover Turbopower 1000!
I'm hopefully buying one of these (exactly the same as yours) soon, as the oldest Vacuum Cleaner I own currently is a 1981 Electrolux 502S, which isn't old enough for me!

Ah, just looked around, one of the vacs my ex had was the 119.... saw quite a few of them to be honest. The other one i cant find on here, but i do remember it was `springy' when it glided over the carpet and had a slit at the side you could put in an attachment, again it was browny gold colour, and very heavy.... he even had the original tools and boxes, silly sod should have kept em!

Lol@1975 version. I can remember the 1979 versions of Hoover Juniors, my moms mate still has one, its two tone brown, says she wouldnt part with it. I dont have a vintage vac at the moment, my ex b/f had two VERY old Hoover uprights, both brown, one i think was one of the first juniors, and another brown one, but it was very similar to your convertible, not sure what he did with them.
