The Mercedes Benz GL 420cdi (diesel) is by far the best option in terms of mid range power and fuel economy.
I would love one of these GL's, but will just make do with my Mazda MPV for now as the Merc's out of my price range :(

i agree with u but my only offroading i will ever do is in my driveway after a snow storm lol any other type of ofroading i would leave it to a 30 or 40 thousand dollar car

For ex.. The The LR. RR. Lexus LX, GM's Escalade and, Linc's. Navi. and, Inf. QX56 are large luxury SUVs....but, they're also verygood at offroading. So, it's only natural for one who's driving one of these SUVs to call you out to see if, the GL is a REAL truck! ;-)
