Queen - Delilah

A very peculiar song on 'Innuendo', the last album of Queen released before Freddie Mercury's death. Delilah was the name of Mercury's beloved cat. The song features Queen members... meowing! When Roger Taylor had first heard about the idea of the song, he hated it, but considering Freddie's deteriorating health and the fact that it might have been one of his last wishes - he agreed to do the song.

I wonder what happened to Delilah, is she still alive? What happened to her after Freddie passed away? Did she miss her owner as much as thousands of people do...?

During the first part of the song you can see the picture of Delilah herself. The second cat is my own one, who was the joy & happiness of my life. He was put down on 23 November 2011, just a day before the 20th anniversary of Freddie's death...

My cat passed away 10 years ago and I still miss him, he made my mother and VERY happy, he was a friend to us :'( What a great song mates, I love Queen, I wish I had seen them live at least once, but unfortunately when they visited Mexico, I was less than 2 months old :( Anyway, we can continue enjoying their great music!!!!
