Thanks for posting this. Chris is the only person I know of that is capable of painting a clear picture of the machinations of evil and the corporate state. His ode to Goldman Sachs is beyond brilliant.

If ya listen to the best of the best of everyone from all facets of makets, economics, advertising, propaganda, politics--i doubt u'll find *anyone* who's ACTUALLY been in harsh places (Hedges lived & reported IN Bosnia during that war in 90s btw!!), that is, Hedges isn't just intellectual--

he's BEEN around the block--he has met & reported on all this corruption all his adult life..

THAT's why he's so respected: HE walks-the-walk, not just a guy who wrote a few smart books/articles or videos.

while i see why "punk rock" clowns would admire chris hedges, he stands for nothing "punk rock". thats a dead term for balding self proclaimed "hipsters". chris hedges is the most tame, beautiful, beyond intelligent, beyond experienced man around. anyone with any sense will be enamored by him. if you are referring to crusties, they are diametrically different.
