Blancpain Motorsport | Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo

Blancpain presents the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo. The Automobili Lamborghini development team and engineers from tyre partner Pirelli put the Gallardo Super Trofeo through its paces on the Vallelunga Race Track outside Rome. This marked the first tests under simulated race conditions, with Lamborghini test driver Giorgio Sanna behind the wheel. From the very outset, the lap times achieved were faster than any ever recorded with a single-brand trophy race car on this track.

The Super Trofeo race car is based on the Gallardo LP 560-4, powered by the new 5.2 litre V10 with direct fuel injection (IDS), generating an increased output of 419 kW (570 hp). Its power flows through the e.gear six-speed robotized gear box to the permanent all-wheel drive with viscous traction the kind of power transmission perfectly suited to motorsport.

Thanks for the information Airbusa319. I am looking to purchase a new vehicle and I am a bit split between some of these higher end cars. I am looking at Aston Martin, have looked at the Lamborghini LP-670-4 SV, and am on the waiting list for the Lexus LFA. So we shall see. Thanks again.

Yes, it is. But with the wide body kit and bonnets and splitter, it would get torn up on a regular road with bumps, potholes, and cracks. This is a real race car meant for track racing. Unlike the stock LP560-4 which is just a cruiser car.

Best car ever made. The white car is sooooooo amazing. It would be a dream to own one of those $300,000 beauties.
