wow, haha I just got a droid x. This idiot traded me a wii with 11 games, a ps2, and a droid x in pristine condition for my iphone. I had a defender on my iphone and went to watch a review of the one for the droid x and who do i find doing it haha, you. I watch all your videos lol. Anyway though, do you know of anyway to root the OTA version of gingerbread?

@jeff30458 I don't know of a way to root the OTA version yet, no, sorry. It's supposed to be possible to SBF back to Froyo, then load a pre-rooted version of the final Gingerbread release (or any of the GB-based ROMs), but there's not a root option for GB natively yet.

@nscott2334 it's not. there are seals to keep dust out, and it might offer some water resistance, but it's definitely not waterproof.

Thinking about trying Liberty ROM though.

Does it have a protection for the camera the reason i ask is cuz i am a construction worker and the sand always messes my phone up especially the camera screen. thanx

my dad has this, but the sensitivity of the touch screen seems to be a bit repressed, especially noticeable on the "slide to unlock" screen. Is this because of the screen protector or is it the actual phone itself?
