Awful, awful playing.. I've seen some creative applications of sitars that were beautiful and very different from their classical use, but this is just fucking garbage. If he were doing this with a guitar, everyone would be laughing at him because everyone in the west understands guitar... He is exploiting the fact that the sitar is an exotic instrument in the US so people are fascinated by the tonality without bothering to consider the actual playing (which in his case, is just terrible)

@thomascperez All I was saying was that he was making a tune on the sitar that he enjoyed, who are we to say he's wrong in doing that.
