  • I love soccer and rugby. I played those sports everyday in Argentina.

  • @Raffi22132 Soccer would be cool if it held the same intensity it did back in the day. Unfortunately it is played by a bunch of overpaid cocksuckers. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • i love both games, and tennis too. But i hate that stupid thing between football and rugby that the americans play.

  • @cougarfanparkingonly Correction - Soccer--a gentleman's game played by drama queens.

  • maybe sa shud put sum token whites in the soccer team and bafana bafana might actually achieve something

  • @cougarfanparkingonly i guess u dont live in coventry :L

  • EPIC lineout header. why is that not in football?

  • what they shud do is have a white rugby, cricket and soccer sa team and a black sa rugby cricket and soccer team that way everyones happy so white sa can become number 1 in rugby and cricket and bafana bafana can stay at world number 50 in the soccer

  • @achillesop1

Americans were playing Ballown Football which is like Gaelic Football but with Blocking. American Football combined Rugby Football with Ballown Football and then added the down and distance rule. So it's a series of set plays with blocking in a more Rugby type format + the foward pass. Set plays was so college kids could out smart outher college kids. The sport was called College Football until the NFL came along. And it's very different from any other sport even Rugby.

  • @FurlogTheGiant American football came from rugby.. Not the other way around

  • Rugby did not come from Soccer. it came from "Football"...in a more general sense. Soccer stands for Association Football (1863)...Rugby started in like 1823. Rugby broke away from a code of Football that was a precursor to Soccer. Just sayin'
