  • I went to go buy a Simon and Garfunkel album (Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.) at a local record store. When I asked the young woman working there if they had an S&G CD's she said, "Who are Simon and Garfunkel?" It broke my heart, not just that she didn't know who these incredible artists were, but that today's generation is getting their noses into the wrong stuff. The people who I go to middle school with don't have a clue that such incredible talent once exists. It breaks my heart...

  • the days of real singing, sadly died out past quarter century for the most part

  • I don't get it...no dancing, no elaborate sets, no costumes...probably never heard of auto-tuning. Sure you can understand the lyrics but it's not like they're keeping it real. They'll never make it.

  • @InSanityThrashBand Haha no that's just the name of the album I went to go buy.

  • @Litterboxer529 at 3 Am?

  • As much as I love this song, this is the first time I've seen footage of them singing it while both were so young. And as good as the song, and the performance is, to my own shame, all I could think about was which one had the worst hair cut going on. And it was only the 60"s.......things got worse once they hit the 70's! Still beats 90% of what passes for music these days without even trying.....

  • Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of silence In restless dreams I walked alone Narrow streets of cobblestone 'Neath the halo of a street lamp I turned my collar to the cold and damp When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light That split the night And touched the sound of silence
  • these two together are really grate.and paul can do anything.

  • i'm 16. but this music is soo incredibleeeee!

  • Reminds me of when i was a student. I like them more as an adult. I appreciate their talent that I probably took for granted when I was a bolshe student.

  • very very few singers today are unable to harmonize like these two...even without the guitar it was magical

  • my son is 12 and he loves S&G and got to meet simon and counts it as one of the best days of his life
