The event would reach millions of people if you consider streaming the video live on USTREAM. That way people from all over the world could attend, even though its not in person. Just a thought.

Great idea on paper. To make it happen, two things are needed.

1) Millions of live viewers. I'm not quite there yet. ;-)

2) Good wireless Internet or cell phone service.

I tried repeatedly to stream live from Waldorf. Cell service was horrible and Internet nonexistent. Even from the Model-S Debut party in NYC where signal was strong, I kept getting punted off because the system is way beyond maximum capacity.

Trying to get good Internet service for events like this takes much planning.

Nce video Z. Where can I get my hands on a schedule of these events. I have seen you at several like this (on Youtube) I would like to go to an event in person,meet some of the people I have been learning from, and see some of the new product ideas 1st hand. Your videos are great but there's nothing like seeing them for yourself.

All good observations. Not to mention the black eye we suffered at the hands of shyster Dennis Lee. The cream will rise to the top.

We, as a small community must do everything in our power to attract the public's interest again through mainstream media. It means knocking on the doors of our own local media outlets - Newspapers (where they still exist), radio (especially AM talk and news) and television stations.

Get involved, people.

it was a great event and i enjoyed it greatly. one example is pre heating water with 40 gallon black passive solar tank like tank at tractor supply for 130 bucks on each house in america would mean 1 tenth the load off grid..or just hot water on demand ...etc

Why not advertise the event better and they may get more public showing up. I know that these things are not even heard in my area until they are over and people like you put out videos to show what it was like.

I guess as years go on it will get better and you will get more people. You don't really want to be swamped either.

It is best that they are doing something - keep up the good work.
