Coney Island Washboard

Here's a cut from a recent session at the Lanc' in Kitchener, Ontario. It was filmed by Colin Hunter though I switched it to black & white.
We look a bit taller and slimmer in this version - We can thank my Windows Movie Maker for that!

Brian Towers (tbn) & Janet Shaw (alto) take the vocal and the washboard histrionics are by drummer Gary Scriven.
Jamie Macpherson (bjo); Abbey Sholzberg (bass) and Reide Kaiser (pno) complete the rhythm section. We have Mick Lewis guesting on clarinet and this makes up for the absence of Andrej Saradin (tpt) whose day job took him away on this occasion. We play approximately once a month at this excellent venue, when we are not playing at our 22 year old home base - "C'est what?" 67 Front St in downtown Toronto.
