best isolated tone award. really cool to hear
-
@zeromant80 he did. he used hofner more than the rickenbacker
-
@Fredrockroll I believe he didn't used his holy grail Hofner in 'Come Together', or most of the 'Abbey Road' tracks
-
Where can i find the full 'Band on the run' bass line? :(
-
@Fredrockroll I thought I'd get a rise out of someone. Hee, hee, hee.

@Insight200801 holy sh*t man, they don't sound the same at all! And it is the original tracks. The Guitar Hero and Rock Band games provided a lot of isolated tracks
-
@mlkbeat i belive there is. I don't have any, but the information i have came from one, just don't remember the name. But I THINK Paul didn't used Rick on any 'Band on The Run' tracks. At least he didn't on the title track.

paul mccartney was my biggest inspiration to play. and i greatly thank my 60's hippie for introducing me to the wonderful, and amazingly talented beatles. did u knw paul mccartney only learned to read music like 15 years ago just to direct a symphany he wrote. he could play any intsrument if he wanted to, he had amazing talent
I have seen Paul play with pick and with fingers. Try playing some of the bass lines while singing like he does.It takes two brains!! He is a freak talent for sure. As a combination bassist/ singer the only guys who come close are Jack Bruce and Gordon(Sting) Sumner.

You people think of Paul as a Bassist, think of him as a Guitar player, he was damn amazing too, ironically, after defending his Guitar skills, he, along with The Beatles, are my inspiration to became a Bass player myself... Thank you Sir Paul McCartney for being an amazing Bass player and being my personal inspiration.
