the one pirate that disentegrated around 9:40, was because there was a phazon tank there. but acutally teh lore was mainly about them trying to do it so tehy can copy metroids ability to use and absorb phazon. but we don't learn taht that is the true purpose uintil later in the mines

i agree. but they used wat used to be the missle launcher...thing to be used for the code download u do a couple of times in the game....y couldn't they just use it for both?
