I can't understand how cracking teams were so big and openly exposed back then. It was part of the scene. It was accepted and even appriciated...sounds pretty crazy for today's standards for crackers barely even get pirates' praises.

I don't think some of the software houses appreciated the cracking, but some certainly appreciated the talent and hired some of the coders and crackers.

Top part of the screen is low-resolution, bottom part is hi-resolution. Each cube is drawn on a single bitplane (ie : one color). This produces a third color when both cube overlap. Amiga was a great machine which allowed you to have a lot of fun with the video chip! This is the last one I coded, if I remember well... Music by Monty. Souvenirs, souvenirs!
